To our membership and friends,

Theme: "Creating a Culture of Care"

It is with great happiness (and a healthy dose of hope) that EARCOS announces our in-person 18th Annual Teachers' Conference, from March 23-25, 2023 at the Sutera Harbour Hotel in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. It has been three years since we were last able to gather for a Teachers' Conference. So many have written and called to tell us how much they have missed this annual special event. Please do join us.

Over the past two years, we have been fortunate to assemble an exceptional group of presenters who will help us explore some of the greatest issues, challenges and opportunities faced by international educators today. And what an incredible opportunity this offers to reconnect with so many colleagues from near and far.

All of us at EARCOS look forward to welcoming you to the 18th Teachers' Conference. Registration is now open.

See you in March!

Edward E. Greene, Ph.D.
Executive Director

This annual conference focuses on strategies, tools and best practices that engage students across the region. The opportunities build upon professional networks and to enjoy camaraderie have made this conference a ‘must’ with educators from the EARCOS region.

Literacy / Reading

Literacy in its broadest sense describes "particular ways of thinking about and doing reading and writing" with the purpose of understanding or expressing thoughts or ideas in written form in some specific context of use.

Early Childhood

The workshops aim to increase early childhood educator effectiveness to help improve children’s school readiness and covers topics like science, math, health, social studies, art, social emotional development, and appropriate use of technology in early childhood classrooms.

Modern Languages

This strand encourages a strategic approach to language teaching, learning and provides tools and resources where languages can flourish. And with ideas for implementing effective assessment strategies and working with learners across a range of language and skill levels.

Job-Alikes

Job-Alikes are a great opportunity for peers with similar roles from different schools to meet, discuss common challenges, and support each other.
