Using Mathematics and Technology to Explore World, State and City Flags with Ron Lancaster

Mathematics appears everywhere, including within the designs of the flags of countries, states and cities. When we view these flags through a mathematical lens we can see patterns, shapes, symmetry, angles, transformations, lines, curves and functions. In this webinar we will learn how flags can engage students in mathematical curiosity, discourse, and the effective use of various forms of technology. Connecting mathematics to the design of flags has an additional and intentional benefit - students learn more about the world and they become global citizens. The Future of Enrollment Management: The Way Ahead During and Post Pandemic with John Littleford

Some of our international schools experienced heavy demand during the early months of the pandemic as parents exited those for-profit and private competitors that were not delivering a satisfactory remote academic program. Others unfortunately experienced declining enrollment as expatriate families did not return. In both circumstances, schools can plan more successfully to sustain and build demand and to strengthen the foundations of enrollment management through powerful stakeholder engagement.
