The ICMEC Global Educator Centre for Excellence and the International Task Force on Child Protection have joined forces to provide resources on how to prevent and respond to child abuse, neglect and sexual exploitation to ensure no child stands alone.

NGSS Foundations Virtual Course Fall 24' cohort
This month-long asychronous course provides teachers and administrators with the
foundations needed to implement and build rich, authentic, student-driven science
experiences that are aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and the
pedagogical shifts contained in the K-12 Framework for Science Education.
Professional Growth and Development for Teacher Leaders to Support Sustainable Change in International Schools
The success of any international school is highly dependent on the strength of its teacher leaders. This year long, hybrid, job-embedded professional learning experience will equip teacher leaders with skills to lead within their departments/grade levels and their schools.
Through engagement within their own communities of practice, participants will embark on a journey to contribute to the growth and success of their school.
Led by Dr. Monica Medina and Shannon Hobbs-Beckley, the ILCC is the original literacy coach training program designed specifically for teacher leaders in international schools. This comprehensive, cohort-based program meets in person, studying the most recent research and trends in literacy instruction, curriculum design, adult learning, instructional coaching and leadership development.

Exploring the Choices Program’s The Vietnam War: Origins, History, and Legacies Curriculum Unit
Join EARCOS and Brown University’s Choices Program to explore the readings, lessons, and videos in our award-winning curriculum unit The Vietnam War: Origins, History, and Legacies. Examine the “long history” approach of the unit, which incorporates diverse viewpoints from Vietnamese civilians, North and South Vietnam
service members, and U.S. women, Black, Latino, and Indigenous soldiers and resistors. All who attend will receive a one-year license to the Choice’s Vietnam War curriculum unit.
